NeuroRehab FND
Consulting
NeuroRehab FND’s mission is to improve health care outcomes for individuals with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). This is achieved through a combination of individualized treatment, training for multidisciplinary teams, and consulting services. Guided by evidence-based clinical guidelines, Dr. Keatley and her team of consultants work to enhance the quality of care for patients and families, while also supporting healthcare professionals across the system to strengthen service delivery.
Meet Dr. Eva Keatley
Eva Keatley, PhD, is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist trained in the science of neurorehabilitation. She completed her doctoral training at the University of Windsor specializing in clinical neuropsychology. After completing her clinical internship at the University of Washington in rehabilitation neuropsychology, she received further specialized training in a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where she is currently on faculty.
Dr. Keatley has worked with patients with a range of complex medical conditions involving changes to brain-body connections. She uses a patient-centered, collaborative, values-based approach to evaluation and treatment. Her aim is to help patients achieve functional goals.
Dr. Keatley started NeuroRehab FND to improve the care of persons of FND. Over the years she has observed first hand how many providers struggle to provide quality care to patients with FND due to a lack of training and understanding of the condition. By working with providers throughout the medical system, she aims to break down misconceptions about FND, guide clinicians in their practice, and reverse the stigma that often exists among patients, families, and clinicians.
